Common Ground Community Garden is located at 5301 FM1938 (A.K.A. Davis Blvd.), North Richland Hills, TX
The garden is owned and supported by the City of North Richland Hills, and run by a very enthusiastic group of community volunteers. The garden exist to build a sense of community and pride while providing gardening space to members fo the greater community. It also serves as a center for education on vegetable production and environmental conservation.
We welcome families with limited income, or limited space, to be a part of the gardening experience. We promote organic growing and being good stewards of our land and the environment. We also encourage our gardeners to share a protion of their bounty with the food bank at St. John the Apostle Church.
We have several ADA approved beds allowing us to welcome and include gardeners with physical handicaps to come and join in the rewards of community gardening.
We have a scheduled garden work day for all our gardeners, and the surrounding community on the third (3rd) Saturday of each month. This helps us keep in touch with our garden neighbors and friends. Please join us! Same hour guidelines apply here, also.
